Meet Everyone at Wildlife One
At Wildlife One everyone is equally important. However, alongside our network of community volunteers, we also have our dedicated ‘staff’ volunteers, which organise the projects, keep the website running and liaise with community leaders. We also have our trustees which play a vital role in making sure the director and their plans are inline with the overall goals they put forward each year. Meet our internal team below, check out our trustees and see some of the pictures sent in by our national network of volunteers.

Meet our staff volunteers

Kenneth Hedges
Original volunteer
Ken was one of the very first volunteers with Wildlife One and helped build the original hedgehog homes in 2017-2018. Ken continued to be involved with the trust and regularly attended meetings every month on how to improve and expand the charity. Sadly, Ken passed away in 2021, but we still have his profile online to commemorate him as our ‘lifetime member’.

Julia Madlock
manufacturing consultant
Julia is a freelance business consultant by profession. She has been with Wildlife One since 2019, where she has helped the charity network approach local organisations and expand its presence to a national level. Currently, Julia is supporting the transfer of webs content from our old site.

Liam Burrows
boarding school tutor
Liam joined the initiative in 2018 and was one of our first volunteers in the Manchester area. Currently employed as a tutor in a boarding school in Stafford, Liam has regularly attended and supported the school talks that our director embarks on when touring around the nation.

Ella Selby
Year 5 school teacher
Ella is a teacher at Rosehill Primary School in Greater Manchester and she has been involved with the Wildlife One trust for two years. She has been instrumental in developing the free lesson plans and resources available to schools.
