Protect the nation’s pets: Make leaving a dog in a car on a hot day a prosecutable offence

Our new government Petition, which launches on October the 21st, 2022, aims to deter people from Even Attempting to leave their dogs in their car during hot summers day by making it a prosecutable offence to leave a dog in a vehicle during any amber warning, which Is released by the met office. These amber warnings are heavily advertised and are a great way to enforce any Changes to legislation Regarding leaving dogs in cars.

The evidence

Too many dogs have died in the last few years from being left in hot cars. Take a look at their pictures and imagine the fear they likely felt in their last minutes. You can actively prevent any other dogs from going though this torture by singing the bill listed across our sites banner.
